Loughead’s been keeping busy with a new project of his. Looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. And if you know one thing about Loughead, it’s that it’ll grind perfectly.

Stoked to see some new footage arise from the KTS camp. Justin came out and visited a while back and we filmed a quick double peg 180 on a rail. funny thing is, that rail is now knobbed. Also, I had 3 pegs, which didn’t last long. peep the rest of the homies in this chill little edit. the last clip is so tight.

Weekend Update.

A little cell phone update from the weekend. Yesterday we went out to York park and I was able film a few clips Loughead had in mind. Shortly after, I fell and hit my head really hard. I still don’t feel right. I’ve been drinking water and trying to nurse myself back to health. Wear your helmets. All I could think about was that if I wore my helmet how much better I’d feel right now

Also, some good news, Marty Kramar hit me up and let me know he’s building up a bike again. This came as a great surprise to me. Marty is one of my favorite people to ride with and I’m glad he’s making an effort to get back on his bike.

Johnny chimpo just finished his newest skate edit and I’m happy to post it here, I helped film some of the clips so if it’s shakey you know who to blame.

Protect The Internet.

Let me just take a minute to address something going on. If you haven’t heard of the censorship of the internet, you should by now. Google, Reddit, and Mozilla are just a few of the big names protesting today.

January 18th, 2012, will be the largest internet protest in history. Thousands of sites across the internet, including some of the biggest in the world, will be blacking out and directing people to contact Congress to kill the web censorship bill, SOPA and PIPA.

PROTECT-IP is a bill that has been introduced in the Senate and the House and is moving quickly through Congress. It gives the government and corporations the ability to censor the net, in the name of protecting “creativity”. The law would let the government or corporations censor entire sites– they just have to convince a judge that the site is “dedicated to copyright infringement.”
