About Me: My name is Matthew Smith. I was born in Hershey, PA and grew up in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. I studied machining in high school and had a full time job lined up post graduation. I worked in a machine shop running CNC machines and CMMs. After working in the dirty and dusty machine shop for nearly three years I realized I needed to do something else with my life. I packed my life up into my friends Ford probe and moved to Philadelphia where I am studying Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Philadelphia.
About Yea: What's the first word that comes to your mind when you see something you really like? For me, it's Yea. Yea is an expression. I started Yea as a name to put my creative things under. Any one can understand what Yea is. Yea is fresh, simple, and fun. Yea is about being yourself. It's about originality. It's about doing what you want because you want to. Part of this site is dedicated to being updated with artwork regularly. This site is also a showcase of my portfolio.
