There are million different plastic pedals out there. The Duo Resilite pedals are also plastic. or Resilite, what is Resilite? I have no clue. A simple google search will show a myriad of results-most notably, wrestling mats. If you google “Resilite Plastic” the only thing that comes up are the Duo Resilite Pedals.
I had these pedals for about a year. That’s really long for pedals. Generally.. If your riding frequently and happen to grind I’d imagine you’d replace them every few months. I don’t pedal grind anymore and I tried hard to keep my pedals up on my feebles. I would of replaced these pedals about 9 months into it if I had cash at the time. They got kinda slippy. I noticed since the plastic is softer than some that they grip really well. However, the plastic literally gets worn down from the bottom of your shoe. My favorite part is the actual size and design. They are a little bit bigger than most. Which my feet love. I wear a 11.5/12 and having that extra room on the pedal feels real good.
Durability: 9 / 10
Design: 10 / 10
Price: $14.99 – pick them up here
Conclusion: I’m stoked on these pedals, I’m on my second pair. If you got bigger feet or simply want wider pedals, then grab these up. Just don’t try and figure out what they’re made of.
