Cult & Federal // UK Tour Summer 2011
Spotted this on Navaz’s tumblr and wow, this is nothing short of amazing. As you would think with any Navaz production. As a 20+ minute web video I had no trouble paying attention. Millsy starts things off with some amazing rail rides. Alex Kennedy lands some really wild moves including a very long nosey as well as bumping a garbage can to 180. The Chases killed it as expected along with the rest of the crew. Between the dudes killing it and Lacey’s megaphone antics this is a pure treat. It’s this eye for detail that you can expect with Navaz. Having never stepped foot over seas I can feel like I too was along for the ride enjoying the scenery.
Check out a 22 minute look into a 10 day tour of the UK with the CULT and FEDERAL crews…This trip had it all and we can’t thank SEVENTIES, all the shops and riders, the CULT and FEDERAL crews enough for making this one for the history books…Thanks for watching, hopefully this motivates you to get out on the road and experience new scenes, spots and friends…Video by:

Coma Cinema // Business as Usual
Poking around on the internet I came accross a new music video from Coma Cinema. It’s interesting to say the least. I’m not quite sure how I feel about it. However, I think it is shot and edited really well. Let me know what you think in the comments.
Also, news to me, they have a [new] album out called Abandoned Lands which you can download for free here. It’s only 5 tracks long but I definitely enjoyed it. It’s pretty cool that they just put their music up for free like that.
Product Review: Duo Resilite Pedals
There are million different plastic pedals out there. The Duo Resilite pedals are also plastic. or Resilite, what is Resilite? I have no clue. A simple google search will show a myriad of results-most notably, wrestling mats. If you google “Resilite Plastic” the only thing that comes up are the Duo Resilite Pedals.
I had these pedals for about a year. That’s really long for pedals. Generally.. If your riding frequently and happen to grind I’d imagine you’d replace them every few months. I don’t pedal grind anymore and I tried hard to keep my pedals up on my feebles. I would of replaced these pedals about 9 months into it if I had cash at the time. They got kinda slippy. I noticed since the plastic is softer than some that they grip really well. However, the plastic literally gets worn down from the bottom of your shoe. My favorite part is the actual size and design. They are a little bit bigger than most. Which my feet love. I wear a 11.5/12 and having that extra room on the pedal feels real good.
Durability: 9 / 10
Design: 10 / 10
Price: $14.99 – pick them up here
Conclusion: I’m stoked on these pedals, I’m on my second pair. If you got bigger feet or simply want wider pedals, then grab these up. Just don’t try and figure out what they’re made of.
DECO all day
Eugene’s got moves, Zach does too. After posting about Eugene the other day he let me know that they made a little edit for DECO. Good to see the dudes out there getting their’s.

The Making of Regretstown.
I’m really stoked that this new project is finished. I’ve been working on this for the past month or two. My cousin and I teamed up to create his new website, Regretstown. He wanted a blog to update with different catagories / characters / personalities. A little slice aptly named “Planet Bedrock” was created. With the idea that this is a little slice of his imagination. I figured I’d post this little behind the scenes look at what it took to bring the site to fruition.
the first draft had lots of errors and needed a second draft.
I illustrated the buildings with a finer detail. Looking to make it as clean as possible.
Here I took the basic illustrations we created and scanned them into photoshop and worked on a light source. After that I would build up the middle tones and shadows untill I got what I had imagined.
